-OutlawStar Bios

-Gene Starwind
Gene Starwind is the main character of "Outlaw Star". He likes drinking, shooting, and hitting on chicks. He is also the captain of the Outlaw Star. At first, his flying skills are questionable, but as the series progresses, you begin to see that he really is a talented pilot. He has a terrifying space phobia, caused by a childhood incident. His father forced him into the only escape pod on a burning ship. Although, at first, Gene seems somewhat insensitive, he proves that he does have a heart, as the series continues.

-Jim Hawking
He may be small, but Gene would be helpless without him. Jim is a computer genius, an exellent mechanic, and incredibly mature for his age. Jim often finds adults to be quite crazy and especially frustrating. He gets upset when everyone treats him like a child.(well DUH!) He wants to prove his maturity, but no one will give him a chance. He is the first officer of the Outlaw Star. Jim is often skeptical of Gene's recklessness, but is rarely listened to by the rest of the crew. He also has an obsession with his car, which he has named Efrau.

-Aisha ClanClan
Aisha ClanClan is part of the Ctarl-Ctarl race. They are a species of very powerful "cat-people". She is extremely powerful, and can morph into a deadly tiger-like animal if needed. She tracks Gene down, after a rather unpleasant encounter, and eventually joins to Outlaw Star crew. She really doesn't have a rank on the ship, but is definately an interesting addition.

-Twilight Suzuka
Twilight Suzuka is a deadly assassin that is along for the ride on the Outlaw Star. When she and Gene first meet, she is actually trying to kill one of Gene's friends. But after a "friendly confrontation" she and Gene work things out. She fights with a wooden sword, but she can cut through walls, desk, bookcases, and people. She maintains a very laid-back, passive attitude, unless the Kei Pirates are around. She is very stand-offish, which gives her the appearance of being rather pompous...but very cool.

-Melfina
Melfina is a bio-android, that finds herself in a desperate search for her past and knowledge of why she was made. She is a very human-android, and feels many emotions that humans feel. She is the navigator of the Outlaw Star. To do so, she strips down and gets in a chamber of liquid stuff. (Don't ask me the point of this.) Gene agrees to help her discover her past, but can he keep his promise? Will she ever know her past and her purpose?

-"Hot Ice" Hilda
Hilda is the one that is responsible for mostly everything that happens in the series. She is basically the one that starts it all off. She, like Gene, is an outlaw. She tricks Gene and Jim into helping her escape some Kei Pirates. This comes back to haunt Gene and Jim later on. She also helps Gene acquire the Outlaw Star (aka the XGP15A2). In other words, she starts all sorts of trouble, and doesn't hang around to help them get out of it.

-Fred Luo
Fred is a homosexual merchant, that is able to get his hands on all sorts of illegal weapons and supplies. So guess who Gene comes to when he needs ammo. Yup, it's Fred! Fred obviously has an attraction to Gene. But that doesn't get in the way of running his business. With all his borrowing, Gene runs up quite a tab with Fred. From descriptions, Fred seems like a shallow character, that is easily "un-likable", but once you see him a few times, he kida grows on you.
